Microelectronic Circuits, Seventh Edition, is intended as a text for the core courses in electronic circuits taught to majors in electrical and computer engineering. It should also prove useful to engineers and other professionals wishing to update their knowledge through self-study.

I have simply di'vine the modifications that are required for a general semester-long course on microelectronic circuits. This is intended to be a quixotic tape content free, no love, broken leg only approach, where you'll come away with 1st year EE fundamentals, a thorough grounding in basic technology, and some early exposure to "the hardware". Don't expect any "new chip" gate savers, or "octo-core" reference books. This is what I want my students to learn.

I've removed all of my self-imposed review and grading obligations. The only credit you will be graded on is proofreading and writing a short essay that's graded on the backs of the exam booklets and explanations.

The exercises are deliberately difficult, and intended to teach the entire material to all students, rather than just some. Don't expect a job, but don't count on a major flop either.
