The liturgy of the Eucharist is a perennial source of renewal, repentance, absolution, union with Christ, and the source of sacramental graces. The relationship between the two parts of the Our Father is reminiscent of the Lord's Supper. It quietly asks God, through his Son, to show us the presence of His grace. It quietly asks the Lord to forgive our sins. In realizing we have sinned and come to him for forgiveness, we recognize his grace. God's love unconditionally accepts us and forgives us while we accept the gift of Jesus' love for us.
