Driver updates for Windows 10 and many devices (such as network adapters, monitors, printers, and video cards) are automatically downloaded and installed through Windows Update. Without support for BLE, earlier versions of Windows can get confused about how to handle BLE features on devices that have them. This can manifest in a variety of ways such as the PC showing that there are devices it cannot find drivers for, or it may simply appear that a device is connected but won't function. On Windows 7, this can be somewhat addressed by installing the 6.5.0.2000 driver version that we have available for download, rather than the one on the CD that comes with the adapter. This should at least correct issues with newer audio devices that have BLE features.

Some driver packages that were released during the first year or two of Windows 10's availability are not compatible with current versions of Windows 10. In particular, the 12.0.1.940 driver package with the WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software can result in these types of issues.

You can usually check if this is present by looking at your list of installed applications for "WIDCOMM". If you find this, the drivers will need to be removed. hi . i got a vgn-tt11wn model and the issue i am facing is the wwan option . i cant connect it .. smart network gets installed and it asks for wwan connection utility which i cant download from anywhere ,, also as someone stated that u need a broadband driver which also i couldnt find to download . so m stuck ! also i would really like to know if a laptop that was bought in uk would the wwan services work in china ? like if i get a local chinese sim card ! is it country restricted ?
